Here at Core Firearms Training, LLC our training is built on more than theory — it’s built on 25 years of real‑world experience. Every instructor on our team has spent decades carrying a firearm daily as part of their professional responsibilities, serving in roles that place them directly within the community and often in high‑stress, rapidly evolving situations.

This background gives our instructors the knowledge and know how to be able to make fighters out of anyone that is willing to try and tell themselves that they will not be a victim. Our team feels we have the duty to pass along this instruction and experience to you in the classroom and on the range. They have faced the same challenges, pressures, and split‑second decisions that ordinary citizens may one day encounter. Because of that, our training goes beyond fundamentals; it prepares students to stay calm, think clearly, and perform effectively when it matters most.

At our core, we believe that true security training cannot be learned solely from a textbook—it must be forged through decades of real-world, high-stakes experience. Our lead instructor’s journey is a testament to that belief.
Decades of Elite, Hands-on Experience

Our lead firearms Instructor began his path 25 years ago, when he earned his initial training and certification to carry an exposed firearm. He quickly built a rock-solid foundation in law enforcement-level protocols, completing rigorous training through the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for PC 832 (Firearms, Arrest, Search, and Seizure). Recognizing his high level of trust and capability, he also secured specialized TSA clearance to act as an armed escort on commercial flights.

Real-World Street Experience & Corporate Leadership
He transitioned his tactical skills into leadership roles where lives and millions of dollars in assets were on the line daily by becoming the Branch Supervisor at Brink’s Armored Transport. Managing armored operations on the ground taught him how to assess, avoid, and—if necessary counter critical threats in full view of the public. Executive Protection & Security Management at Amazon where he was personally tasked with protecting Amazon's top-tier executives, while simultaneously managing physical security operations for all of Amazon’s fulfillment and corporate locations across the state of California.

Entrepreneurship & Private Security
In 2012, he took his decades of field expertise and founded a premier private security firm. Under his leadership, that single company has grown into two robust corporations spanning both California and Nevada. A year later, in 2013, he obtained his concealed carry permit. For well over a decade since, he has carried both exposed and concealed firearms daily, navigating the complex legal, physical, and psychological realities of carrying a life-saving tool in public.

Passing the Torch to the Next Generation
Today, as an NRA Certified Instructor, he is shifting his focus toward mentorship. Having spent his entire adult life operating at the highest levels of the security and protection industries, he founded this training program to pass down his immense wealth of real-world knowledge.
